Mid-American Coaches is a family owned and operated company with headquarters located in Washington, MO.  The original company began in 1927 as a commuter operation and operated that way until my father, Ralph Jones, bought the company in 1957.  Since then it has grown from its small six-bus operation to a modern charter and tour motorcoach fleet. Many of our employees have been with us for more than 20 years.  We have always considered them more like family than employees.  They represent the key to our success because to our customers, they are Mid-American Coaches.

Just over 15 years ago we faced a difficult decision when we considered outsourcing our HR functions with the objectives of 1) providing more value to our employees, and 2) allowing us to focus more internal energy on growth.  We made the move because we understood all the advantages and trusted the people involved.

One of the most difficult parts of my business centers on employee issues.  A simple "payroll service" isn't good enough.  I needed access to affordable benefit programs and options for Workers' Comp insurance.  I need control over the entire human resource function, from making sure all new hires have the proper paperwork complete all the way to administering unemployment claims.  I want my employees to feel like they belong to the best company in town.  Most importantly, I need a trusted group of experts who can help to keep me legal.  Simploy solves all of those problems (and more).  If I were still practicing as a CPA, I'd be sending all of my business clients to Simploy.

 I love the fact that you are local and I have a face to go with the voice.  I never met anyone from (previous PEO) that I had to deal with.  They were all located in other states.  When I call you, I know you will always be very cheerful, professional, polite, helpful, and knowledgeable.  If you don't know the answer, you will get right on finding it.  You have taken care of everything that our company has thrown your way in a very timely and proficient manner!

I really like that I can go onto any employee on the Simploy Website and find out anything that I need to know.  The website is very easy and helpful.  Just log in and click to the left on the the screen and you are where you want to go.

I can submit payroll at 10:00 AM and it is done by noon.  Payroll has been going really smoothly.  Before, with (previous PEO) I could send over things that needed to be deducted or changed. Every week I had to check to make sure it was taken care of, because several times, things were put aside on their end.  I feel very comfortable that you are on top of things.  I do not worry at all.

I should say the employees love the fact that they can make changes to direct deposits and they are done right away.  Before, it would take 2 to 3 payrolls before it would go into effect.

I am very satisfied with Simploy.  No complaints here.  I would highly recommend Simploy to any business.
